Amirkabir University researcher wins medal at World Microelectronics Olympiad

Researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Amirkabir University of Technology succeeded in winning a medal at the World Microelectronics Olympiad.
According to the Public Relations Office of Amirkabir University of Technology, Ali Ramazani, with the guidance and support of Professor Georg Karpetyan, succeeded in winning a medal and an honorary diploma at the 18th International Microelectronics Olympiad in Armenia.
The 18th International Microelectronics Olympiad, with the participation of 900 contestants from 30 countries including Iran, Germany, the United States, England, Russia, Serbia, Argentina, Taiwan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, India, Malaysia, Chile, the United Arab Emirates, Peru, Vietnam, etc., was hosted by Armenia.
The aim of this competition is to discover the most talented and creative young engineers or students under the age of 30.
The International Microelectronics Olympiad is held annually by the World Committee of these competitions in two stages, national and international; this event is one of the most important international events in the field of electronics, conducted in the Latin language.
It is worth mentioning that the national stage of the 18th Microelectronics Olympiad was held on September 20, 2023, at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Tehran with the participation of more than 100 researchers in electrical and electronic engineering. Ali Ramazani succeeded in obtaining a perfect score and the highest possible score, securing the top national ranking as the head of the Iranian national team to advance to the global stage.
