The Magnificent and Lively Atmosphere of the "First National Student Festival" at AUT
AUT would like to introduce more engineering disciplines because there is a perception in society that medical disciplines are money-making, but we show the exact opposite.
"Currently we do not have a medical degree at Amirkabir University of Technology, but there is a biomedical engineering field, which will do important work in the near future" said the head of the Amirkabir Mathematics and Computer Science Department.
Considering the fact that in the international rankings of world universities, AUT has won the first place among Iran’s top 5 universities, and has the global ranking of 300 to 500, one of the goals of this festival was to attract more audience, especially focusing on Mathematics and Computer Science disciplines; therefore, students from all over the country were invited to attend the event.
