Dr. Farzin Towhidkhah, a faculty member in the department of biomedical engineering, AUT, was commended by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology in the 5th National Conference of Educational Excellence because of creativity in applying modern educational methods.
Dr. Towhidkhah has been the supervisor and administrator of 7 research and industrial projects in various areas of biomedical engineering such as the design and production of an instrument for measuring arterial blood pressure using the laser Doppler system and the One-channel and Multi-channel Transcranial Direct-Current Stimulation (TDCS) device.
He has been able to register four patents, present more than 160 conference papers, and publish more than 120 scientific articles.
